Out of school hours care

The Jamboree Heights Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) operates from within the school grounds and can provide care to all students of JHSS, both before and after school hours. The service features a purpose-built facility containing wonderful resources to stimulate and occupy your child's mind whilst after care is being provided by fully-qualified and experienced staff. The service program contains structured craft activities and fun-based physical games and recreational challenges, aimed at ensuring all groups and abilities are recognised and provided for at every session. The service is fully licenced by the State Government Department of Communities.

Attendance at this facility is subject to completion of an enrolment form which is available on our website or from the OSHC room daily between 6.30 am and 9.00 am, and from 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm.




Hours of operation

Before school care: 6.30 am to 9.00 am - years 1 to 6 signed out at 8.40 am, prep escorted to class at 8.45 am.

After school care: prep collected from classroom at 3.00 pm year 1 to 6 arrives at 3.00 pm. The facility closes at 6.30 pm.

Vacation care and pupil free days: care is provided daily from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm.

Holiday program 


The OSHC program also operates a holiday program during each school holiday period with imaginative theme days and fun-packed excursions catering for all age groups. Attendance at holiday care requires a separate enrolment process using the "holiday care enrolment form" available from the service 4-6 weeks prior to each holiday break. Please note: the facility does not operate on public holidays and is closed for two weeks directly over the Christmas / New Year period. Information regarding fee structure, fee payment and eligibility for child care benefit is contained in the 'Family handbook' available upon enrolment, or by calling the numbers listed below.
